Eliza and Luke – Village Creek Wedding

This wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be! From the moment we pulled up to the house on Florence Street, where Eliza and her bridesmaids were getting ready, we knew it was going to be a picture-perfect day. We always start off with details. The sun was shining, which was only made better by the reflection of light on the large triple-decker porch. We love nature’s natural reflectors and we were able to get the most whimsical pictures of Eliza’s Kate McDonald wedding dress hanging in the master bedroom.

We loved seeing Eliza surrounded by such loving women that morning.  Sydney was the best Maid of Honor, helping us keep Eliza’s dress out of all the spring pollen!

Luke and his groomsmen had their own fun down the street at the church, where Isaac and I struggled at first but had the name of all 9 brothers and sisters by the end of the night, *we think*.

Luke’s brother and best man, Joe, had the crowd laughing welcoming Eliza into the Ours family quoting the office.  Eliza’s best friend, and maid of honor, Sydney brought herself to tears describing just how happy Luke made Eliza.  The couple was so loved as one after another stood to give praise to the newlyweds.  But it didn’t end there!  There was a rainbow after the storm, fireworks in the distance, and the night wrapped up with a confetti cannon exit.

Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘wedding’ as ‘the fusing of two metals with a hot torch.’ Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals.

Eliza and Luke, thank you for trusting us and believing in us to capture your day.  Below are a few of our favorite pictures and we hope you love these pictures as much as we loved celebrating with you!  If you can handle marriage the way you handled thunderstorms and tornado warnings on your wedding day without a worry, we believe you will continue to dance together through life together.

Big Hugs and Lots of Love,

Isaac and Amanda
