Two weeks ago, we packed our bags and jumped into our car to drive to Cobbtown Georgia for Erica and Calebs Christmas inspired wedding at The Barn at Collins Family Farm. You might remember Erica and Caleb from their Downtown savannah and wormsloe engagement session last spring or when they were featured on How They Asked by The Knot.

If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.

Being from St Simons Island (where there isn’t much cold or snow) we don’t get the chance to photograph too many winter-inspired weddings, so it was a treat for us to get to shoot a completely different landscape. Thankfully, even though rain was in the forecast all week, it held off until just enough for these two to tie the knot.

After we photographed their engagement session, we wrote that there is nothing more romantic and special to a girl than waiting for their own handsome leading man to surprise them on a bended knee with a sparkling engagement ring… except if he did it while flying a plane.  We’d like to add to that list “except when the groom tears up at the first look”, or “except the first dance kiss, indoors, with SNOW floating all-around –– among the many special moments that come to mind on their wedding day.

“I never loved you any more than I do, right this second.  And I’ll never love you any less than I do, right this second.”

Erica and Caleb, we feel so honored that you came all the way to us on the coast for your engagement session, and that you brought us all the way to you for your wedding day. You are as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. It was an absolute pleasure to serve you and your families.  Thank you for trusting us with your most precious memories. We hope you love looking back on your wedding day through our lens as much as we loved witnessing it with our own eyes.

We wish you nothing but the very best as you embark on the most fulfilling adventure of your lives — marriage.
