Hannah and Tanner – North Georgia Wedding

We kicked off our first mountain weekend of the fall season with a Saute Nahoochee wedding for a sweet couple we just adore!  You may remember Hannah and Tanner from their beautiful Dahlonega engagement session back in February.  We could tell right away that Hannah was invested in ensuring that every detail of their wedding was meaningful and special, and we had a feeling it was going to be an extra special celebration of love. Boy, were we right!

As soon as we walked into the bridal suite cabin, we were warmly welcomed by all 11 bridesmaids, yes you read that right 11 bridesmaids.  We loved seeing Hannah surrounded by such loving women that morning.  The room was filled with smiles and laughter before it was even time to help her get into her wedding dress. And, was she STUNNING!  I mean, stop your groom’s heartbeat, STUNNING! We always love the sweet transition and quiet moment of this.  From the loud pop of champagne to the quiet loop of a satin button.  It’s the silence of holding of a breath as you slowly put in each earing and step into your wedding shoes.  It’s the moment you first look up, and really soak in that you are the bride!

The next big moment really made our hearts swell.

Hannah and Tanner decided to use the quiet and private moment of their first look to read personal vows to each other.  Just thinking about it again as we write this blog makes our eyes a little watery.  The sweet promises they made to each other just filled all the corners of the room with love.  And the way Tanner looked at Hannah when we saw her for the first time… it was so sweet!

Our third favorite moment was when Hannah’s dad read aloud a carefully crafted and witty poem at the reception.  He has the whole crowd throwing back their heads and trying to catch their breath from laughing so hard.  It was the perfect mix of sentimental, sweet and fun. Did we mention that he married them?? Yep, Hannah’s dad was the Priest!

From the start of the day to the very end, there was an undeniable feeling of joy all around us.  Hannah and Tanner, we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to be with you on such a monumentally wonderful day. Thank you for trusting us to capture these memories that you will have for a lifetime, we can’t wait to watch as the rest of your journey unfolds! Here are just a few of our many favorites from your beautiful day!

Big Hugs and lots of Love,

Isaac and Amanda
