When Millie and Chris asked to highlight the Blueridge mountains for their engagement session we suggested Yonah Mountain Vineyards, and were so excited when they said “Yes!” We love to time our engagement sessions for the most flattering light as natural light photographers and we were so thankful to YMV for letting us use their property after their scheduled close time so we could capture golden hour. They even had a coordinator on staff for us and let us have the whole place to ourselves!
When Millie and Chris pulled up to us in the parking lot we were so excited! Not only did they look amazing, but we could immediately see their love for each other all over their faces. We firmly believe that the most joyful/loving couples are always the most beautiful!
These two UWG sweethearts met on spring break and have been together ever since! After college, they moved back to Millie’s hometown and shortly after Chris proposed on top of a mountain in Gatlinburg, TN. We asked them questions about wedding planning, their pup and when they first met. We had so much fun getting to know them even better.
As we wandered our way through the vineyard vines these two were both such troopers, it was HUMID and Millie was rocking some really cute but… really tall wedges. They did not complain once as they followed us all over the property because they were just enjoying each others company!
As the sun finally dipped below the mountains we were both happy and sad. We were so happy to capture some really sweet moments and laugh together. But we were a little sad when the sun began to fade completely behind the mountain because it meant the session was over, and we could have kept going!
Congratulations again Millie and Chris! We are counting down till your big day next spring!
