We love engagement sessions, and we love weddings because we love to celebrate marriages.  But every once in a while, when we have the honor to do them, we get such a rush of excitement to participate and capture a proposal.

It’s the moment when the guy wears his heart on his sleeve and asks the love of his life to marry him.  It’s the moment in the movie that makes your heart skip a beat.  It’s as new and as fresh and exciting as the words “I love you” but what they are really saying is “I choose you”.

C.S. Lewis said it best, “Now, at last, they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before.”

Sometimes the details are more than picking the perfect place and time. David pulled off a surprise proposal of a lifetime to the girl that believed she couldn’t be surprised!  A few hundred yards down the beach from where he popped the question was a tent full of close family and friends ready to celebrate and pop some champagne!
